Esta técnica de decoración artesanal es realizada sobre todo por mujeres. Varios talleres se han desarrollado a lo largo de los años (Maïssade, Camp-Perrin) pero han tenido dificultades para continuar a pesar de su éxito. Algunas técnicas utilizan más hilos pegados sobre un soporte siamés, bordados en relieve o patchwork. En el caso de la comunidad Albaricoque, los manteles y otros adornos de mesa se confeccionan a mano en un proceso de colaboración. El proceso comienza con la elección del tema. Los temas elegidos se inspiran directamente en nuestra tierra, nuestros árboles frutales y nuestras flores. Se utilizan diversos diseños y motivos: buganvillas, glicinias, hibiscos, orquídeas, o nuestros árboles frutales piña, mango, jackfruit, café, etc. Una vez elegido el motivo, se preparan las calcomanías con tela de colores y se fijan con alfileres sobre la tela de fondo siam (algodón grueso), siguiendo el patrón dibujado según el motivo elegido y las dimensiones. Este trabajo lo realiza el equipo del Atelier Paradis des Indiens, pero el trabajo de bordado lo terminarán las bordadoras en su casa. La producción, generalmente manteles y otras mantelerías, se llevará de vuelta al taller principal. Se empaquetará para la venta. Este trabajo permite a las mujeres trabajar a su ritmo en casa.

This work is done by the Atelier Paradis des Indiens team, but the embroidery work will be finished by the embroiderers at home. The production, generally tablecloths and other table linen, will be taken back to the main workshop. It will be packaged for sale. This work allows the women to work at their own pace at home.
